Principle of Male Spiritual leadership apparent throughout the bible - Men were priests - Men were chosen for apostles - Men were to be elders and deacons - hence also in the HOME.
Such is a POSITION OF RESPONSIBILITY -
He is to be the 'head' - Ephesian 5:
He must love his wife as his own body - Eph. 5:25-29 -
He must please his wife and care for her as Christ does the church - Eph. 5:27; 1 Cor. 7:33
He must not be harsh with her - Col. 3:19
He care for her as 'the weaker vessel' - giving respect unto her and helping her in being a Christian - as 'heirs together of the grace of life' - 1 Peter 3:7
Such requires 'KNOWLEDGE" - knowledge of HER.
HE HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MEETING HER NEEDS.
