MANY NOT BELIEVE IN -

Jehovah Witnesses say the teaching 'of a fiery hell for torment eternally of conscious ... souls' is 'God dishonoring" (Let God Be True, pg. 68).

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY

Hell is everlasting: it will never end, but it will continue 'day and night for ever and ever' Rev. 20:10

It is a place of punishment; there will be 'indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil" (Rom. 2:8-9).

It is a place of separation from God. The wicked 'shall be punished... from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power" (2 Thess. 1:9).

It is a place of regret: there "shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matt. 25:30). One not only weeps when he is in pain, but he grinds his teeth together when he is in remorse of mind - in regret.

It is a place of darkness - "and cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness" (Matt. 25:30)j.

It is a place of unquenchable fire - and 'the worm dieth not' - it is described 'as the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone" (Rev. 21:8), and the fire is not quenched (Mark 9:43).

It is a place of 'death' - Someone once said that hell is a place where every one will be trying to die, but no one will be able to get the job done. It is 'the second death' (Rev. 20:14; 21:8). This has to do with the fact of separation from the presence of God.

It is a place of undesirable company - all of the wicked, the filthy, the vile will be in hell - "the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone" (Rev. 21:8). Consider the fact that if you go to hell, you will spend eternity with the thieves, the homosexuals, the most wicked of men. There will not be a single good person in hell.
