3 Days and Nights?
began reign in 18th yr. of Jeroboam
died in 20th yr. of Jeroboam
began to reign in 2nd yr. of Asa
began to reign in 3rd year of Asa reigned 24 years, died in 26th year of Asa
began to reign in 26th year of ASA reigned 2 yrs.
THIS METHOD USED TILL FALL OF NORTHERN KINGDOM WITHOUT VARIATION.

Mt. 27:63,64 Sepulcher to be made sure till 3rd day
But Jesus said he would rise AFTER 3 days.
1.we would have said "till the 4th day"
2.shows that they understood to mean 3 days
3.shows they understood him to rise ON THE 3rd DAY
JESUS SAYS WILL RISE ON 3rd DAY.
Mt.16:21; 17:23; 20:19 Lk. 9:22; 18:33; 24:7,46
YET JESUS SAYS WILL RISE AFTER 3 DAYS ASV,
ON 3rd DAY = AFTER 3rd DAY, ACCORDING TO COMMON USAGE
3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS = AFTER 3rd day / on 3rd day.
NOTE: When Jewish writers wanted to be exact, would qualify term with "whole" or "full", Lev.25:29 Jer. 27:3; Acts 7:23; Acts 11:26; 28:30;
If meant 3 days and 3 nights AS WE MEAN IT:
WOULD HAVE SAID 3 FULL DAYS or 3 WHOLE DAYS.
STRANGE??? HOW ABOUT OUR "school year', work week, are they not strange to some peoples????
